On Saturday, July 19, athlete Kenyu Nakamoto appeared as a guest at the "Osaka Eemon Marche" talk show regarding athletes' diets, held at the Keihan Department Store Moriguchi branch.
Approximately 70 people attended the event, where Nakamoto-senshu answered a wide range of questions, from his career to how he spends his days off.
Main questions from the venue
Do you have any routines or superstitions on game days?
Taking a hot shower is part of my routine.
How do you spend your days off?
I use it to rest my body. I also work up a sweat through training.
What are you conscious of or careful about in your daily diet?
I am careful about nutritional balance. I make sure to bring supplements even when I'm on the road.
If you had no dietary restrictions, what would you like to eat?
Sushi, steak, tonkatsu, etc. On my days off, I set aside one day a week where I can eat whatever I want.
Do you have any signature dishes or meals you often cook for yourself?
I usually cook for myself. Taco rice is my specialty!
Please tell us about your future goals and dreams.
Including the new head coach, new members, and all the national team players, I want us to integrate and work together so that we can win the championship this season, improving from our 3rd place finish last season.
Also, since there is the World Club Championship, I want to take on the challenge from Osaka to the world.
Finally, he gave a strong message to the fans: "I want you to help us create home games not just at Panasonic Arena, but at various venues. I hope you will enjoy lots of delicious food in each area while you cheer for us."
