Match Details
The 2025-26 Daido Life SV.LEAGUE Week 2 GAME 1 was held on Saturday, November 1st at Panasonic Arena (Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture), where OSAKA BLUTEON (hereinafter referred to as Bluteon) faced off against Voreas Hokkaido.
[Set 1]
In the early stages, the team launched attacks primarily from the wings, with players like Tomita and Lopez, and accumulated points through Tomita's blocks.
Although they fell behind 10-13 after conceding consecutive points, they gradually adjusted to the opponent's fast-paced attacks, responding with blocks and defense.
In the middle of the set, Nishida became the axis of the attack, landing powerful spikes, and a block by Lopez following a serve from Evade-Dan allowed them to catch up and tie the score at 17-17.
After that, thanks to the efforts of Lopez and Nishida, they took the lead, but the game turned into a seesaw battle as they allowed a comeback in the final stages.
Nevertheless, they managed to score consecutive points to reach set point, and with high concentration in the final moments, they scored three consecutive points to take the set 25-23.

The early part of the set was a close contest with both teams trading side-outs, and a tense situation with a one-point difference continued for a while.
Bluteon succeeded in putting pressure on the opponent with Evade-Dan's serves and scoring consecutive points, including a successful play by the in-form Lopez, to take a 16-13 lead.
They continued to disrupt the opponent's reception with Nishida's serves, widening the gap to 21-15.
Although they were chased down in the final stages as the opponent attacked with their serves, they held on firmly to take the set 25-22, winning two sets in a row.

This set also began with a back-and-forth exchange, with both teams trading points early on.
Even so, Bluteon seized a rare opportunity to score consecutive points, and following a serve from Yamauchi, they took a 14-12 lead.
The point-trading continued thereafter, with Lopez and Nishida reliably scoring to keep the match close as they reached the final stretch at 20-20. Bluteon then brought in Nishiyama as a relief server, whose sharp serves helped them score consecutive points to take a 22-20 lead.
In the end, they shut out the opponent with a block by Evade-Dan to secure a 3-0 straight-set victory.
OSAKA BLUTEON now has a record of 2 wins and 1 loss, with a total of 6 points.
They will face Voreas Hokkaido again tomorrow, Sunday, November 2nd, at home (Panasonic Arena).
Comments from Head Coach Samuel after the match
It was a good way to win.
It was especially wonderful to win 3-0.
Voreas is a team with few errors, a variety of serves, and very good defense, so we had to play patiently to break them down.
I think our offense was at a good level overall as well.
My goal for tomorrow is to be able to manage the game more consistently.
Also, I want to make the necessary adjustments to play an even better game than last week and prepare well for tomorrow's battle.

Today, while playing tactically, we tried some things on the defensive side, but there were more things that didn't go as planned, so I want to watch the footage from today, come up with countermeasures, and produce results in tomorrow's match.
Also, we focused on which situations the opponent's middle blockers would use quick attacks, but that system didn't really click, so I hope to build a better system while keeping a better grasp of the game's flow and the score.
