Panasonic ENERGY presents SV.LEAGUE World Tour 2025 was held on Saturday, September 13 at Nimibutr Stadium (Bangkok), where OSAKA BLUTEON (hereinafter referred to as Bluteon) faced Diamond Food Fine Chef (Thailand).
[Set 1]
The first point was scored via a side-out feint by Nishida, followed by a back-and-forth exchange of points, but a block point by Yamauchi successfully gave the team a 7-6 lead.
However, the match became a close contest again as they were blocked by the opponent's defense, and OSAKA BLUTEON kept the lead by applying pressure through defense centered on Nakamoto.
Furthermore, Nishida's spikes and blocks were successful, bringing the score to 12-9 at the halfway point of the set.
They continued to score at a good tempo, with consecutive points coming from blocks by Nishida and Yamauchi.
It seemed they might pull away, but they struggled as they could not execute side-outs as planned.
After regaining their rhythm following a timeout by Coach Samuel, the match remained a close contest into the final stages.
Despite Libero Ikeshiro handling the opponent's sharp serves to set up attacks, they dropped the set 22-25.

From the beginning, both teams traded side-outs without giving an inch, but they found their rhythm with quick attacks from Nishikawa and scored consecutive points off Nakamoto's serve to lead 12-9.
However, similar to the first set, they gave up consecutive points due to inconsistent play, so they focused the ball on Nishida to change the momentum, powering their way to a 19-16 lead heading into the final stages.
They continued to control the match with consecutive service aces from Nishida and serves from Nakamoto, and finally, a block by Nakamura secured the set 25-18.

In the early stages, the team got off to a successful start with Yamauchi making a block off Nishida's serve, but the opponent responded with their own blocks, leading to a close contest.
Looking to pull ahead, Bluteon used tenacious defense to convert rallies into points, and further consecutive points from a Nishida service ace brought the score to 12-9.
Setter Nakamura centered the play around Nishida while maintaining rhythm by consistently using quick attacks at key moments, with Yamauchi and Nishikawa meeting expectations by piling on the points.
In the tense final stages, Yamauchi's block was successful, but the team could not take the set immediately, leading to a deuce.
Even in this situation, Nishida remained the focal point for scoring, helping the team overcome the difficult moments. After a seesaw battle, they secured consecutive points through efforts like block coverage to take the set 30-28, winning consecutive sets.

The team got off to a successful start by scoring consecutive points off Nishida's serve, allowing them to control the game early on.
Midway through, Nakamoto's block brought the score to 12-8. Although both teams engaged in a back-and-forth battle with tenacious defense, Bluteon maintained their lead.
Imamura also actively participated in the attack to build momentum, but as the final stages approached, the team was caught by the opponent's block, leading to an 18-18 tie and a timeout.
Following an intense rally, Nakamoto scored with a block to make it 20-20. In the final moments, Nakamura funneled the ball to Nishida to secure points. This set also went to a deuce, but Nishikawa scored with a fast quick attack, and Nishida secured the final point to take the set 27-25, clinching the victory with a set count of 3-1.
Comments from Head Coach Samuel after the match
First of all, regarding this match, I felt that it is important to build our character as a team.
We must never give up as a team. We must not give up. In that respect, I think everyone did a solid job.
Even with a regular spike or when the situation wasn't ideal, they didn't give up and stayed tenacious. I think we were able to see that team character in the final two sets.
That was a positive point.
In terms of technique, I want to improve our block and defense.
Even in today's match, there were many scenes where our block hands were used to score a block-out. I believe we must eliminate that in the future.
Although there are areas for improvement, I am very honored to be able to play an official match like this in front of so many people.
Since I became head coach, we haven't had many opportunities for matches like this, so this is very helpful.
Also, I am very happy that we were able to show our team to everyone at Panasonic in Thailand.
